AGI provides Australian grain farmers with industry-leading solutions

The Australian grain industry has seen many changes since deregulation in 2008. Farmers now have the added responsibility of handling, storing and preserving their grain to maximise its intrinsic value. AGI supports Australian farmers on this mission through their range of services and industry-leading products.

At this year's AGI Live event, Peter Forster, AGI's Regional Business Manager, outlined a few significant factors farmers and producers should consider when buying from or partnering with an equipment supplier.

How do you know a company has products that are tested for strength and build to last?

The first place to look is at their experience. Peter recommends customers research their supplier before buying.

Consider a supplier who has experience working in multiple climate conditions. Peter recommends asking, "Have they got experience working in high humidity? Have they got experience working in extreme cold?".

AGI's international experience is trusted by customers worldwide, working in various climates and surrounding conditions from ocean port facilities to minus 40 degrees prairie farms. Their sales team and engineers work with customers to deliver the right combination of solutions for specific requirements.

The next contributing factor to consider is the depth of engineering a company applies to their equipment. AGI has a large team of engineers with a proven track record demonstrated through their expansive list of industry-leading equipment and globally recognized brands like; AGI Westeel, AGI Westfield and AGI MFS.

The AGI engineering teams apply rigorous testing throughout the design process to ensure customers receive the best products.

Our customers know their purchase has been tested to withstand harsh conditions and is built to last.

In good hands

When partnering with AGI, the customer knows they're in good hands. AGI's Australian dealer network is composed of your neighbours and peers. "Our dealers are not just selling you a product; they're farmers and use what they sell," Peter said.

"So when they come to support you as a farmer… they understand what you need."

Finally, AGI listens to farmers feedback to improve their equipment and believes in innovating new solutions.

Their technology platform, AGI SureTrack, is designed to help maintain the quality of stored grain by answering difficult questions.

"When do I aerate? When do I fumigate? How do I maintain the quality of my grain? When's the best time to sell? And most of all, when can I get the best price?" Peter explained.

"AGI SureTrack gives you a platform to manage all of these activities."

AGI is working to make life easier for its customers through their exceptional equipment line and innovative grain management systems.

"AGI has the depth and the breadth to support not just the farmer customer, but [also] the processors," Peter added.

"We continually innovate, we're local, and we're here to support you."
