Global Table: your window on the future

Global Table will bring together global leaders in the agriculture, food and beverage industries for four days of conference sessions, exhibitions, immersive installations, site visits, pitch competitions and more.

The inaugural Global Table event will take place 3-6 September 2019 in Melbourne with a focus on finding solutions to the challenges facing food systems worldwide. It is a three-day program of conference sessions, exhibitions, installations and site visits, bringing together some of the most innovative minds in the agriculture, food and beverage industries to find breakthroughs to some of the industry's biggest challenges.

Conference topics will explore every aspect of the agribusiness chain from farm to fork, including precision agriculture, controlled environment agriculture, plant-based protein, artificial intelligence, consumer trends and food as medicine. The conference program has been created with Seeds&Chips - The Global Food Innovation Summit, a pioneering event that began in Milan four years ago.

The 68th US Secretary of State John F. Kerry will join Dr Howard-Yana Shapiro, Mars Inc.'s Chief Agricultural Officer, and Shama Sukul Lee, CEO and founder of Sunfed, as keynote speakers headlining the conference program.

An Innovation Precinct and a Trade Zone will also come to life at Melbourne Showgrounds as part of the event.

The Innovation Precinct is a chance to learn about the products and services that will make our homes, farms, factories and cities smarter and more sustainable, with 100 products on-show. In the Trade Zone, attendees can meet 150+ Australian food and beverage exporters in the

categories of dairy, meat, grocery lines, non-alcoholic beverages, and grains and baking.

Global Table site visits on Friday 6 September will take delegates into innovative Australian businesses to see the technology and ideas of the conference in action.

Delegates will range from internationally recognised leaders to primary producers, futurists to policy makers and respected Government figures. All sharing the same purpose, to join forces on solutions that can reshape the food industry and create a more sustainable future.

Ticket prices start from $56.50 which gives you access to both the Innovation Precinct and the Trade Zone, where you can see hundreds of exhibitors and new products, hear innovators and market leaders present on cutting-edge topics and network with other like-minded people.

Take your seat at Global Table.

Global Table is being held at the Melbourne Showgrounds between Tuesday 3 September and Thursday 5 September 2019. On Friday 6 September, site visits will take place across Victoria.
