Honda Pioneer upgraded for 2017

Both feature a purpose built 999cc parallel twin engine and state-of-the-art beltless transmissions. Both also have the Dual Clutch Transmission System which offers the performance of a manual transmission with the convenience of an automatic.

For 2017, the Pioneer 1000s now have a winch-ready wiring harness, thicker seat foam for increased comfort and a new seat belt interlock system which prompts drivers to wear their seat belt when operating the machine.

Honda has also adapted a new seat belt interlock system which prompts drivers to wear their seat belt when operating the machine and if the seatbelt is not engaged then the vehicle’s speed is limited.

The Pioneer 1000-5 has auto-levelling rear suspension which automatically optimises rear ride height to suit its load.

The two rear seats can quickly and easily fold away to make a flat bed. The folding seats also allow the Honda to be configured as a three-seater, four-seater or five-seater.

Honda’s Pioneer 1000s also feature an LCD dash, disc brakes and a parking lock system.

The Pioneer 1000-3 can be picked up for an MLP of $23,499 and the Pioneer 1000-5, for an MLP of $25,499.
