The category acknowledges outstanding international success in the field of agricultural products, services or technology, including farm production, manufactured foods and beverages, forestry and fisheries.

AgTrade's portfolio of companies, which includes Paradigm Foods, Hay Australia, AUSTREX and NatureBase, export premium branded beef and lamb, hay and other livestock feed, elite livestock, and genetics.

Chief Executive Officer, Justin Slaughter, said AgTrade is a proudly Queensland-based portfolio of export businesses deeply committed to contributing to global food security, adding they are humbled and honoured to have been named winners, in the company of other respected export enterprises.

"In 2023, AgTrade will celebrate its 50th year and it's exciting to see how far we've come," he said.

"Our businesses now export products to more than 26 countries to help feed the global community of 7.7 billion people with safe, affordable and environmentally sound protein.

"To do this, we work to connect more than 7,500 primary producers across Australia with the world's highest-paying customers for agricultural products, and are very proud to deliver 75% of our revenue back into rural and regional communities."

Slaughter said diversification of markets, products and services have been key drivers of AgTrade's growth over the last few years and have complemented its charter to care for the people, animals and communities the business supports.

"Our vision is to feed the world with purpose, creativity and care, and I am particularly excited to have the hard work of our team, who have worked tirelessly to grow our business over recent years, acknowledged this evening," he said.

"On our 50th anniversary this year, we look back at the fantastic, passionate people we've been surrounded by, and I sincerely thank our business partners, customers, supply chain partners and dedicated team.

"To be able to achieve what we do as a Queensland-owned business is something we're immensely proud of."
