CBH Group will be looking to recruit two new staff members.

Chief Financial Officer of the CBH Group Doug Warden has provided his resignation to pursue another employment opportunity and will leave CBH at the end of August.

Warden's resignation has provided CBH with an opportunity to consider the structure of it's leadership team including the responsibilities of the Chief Financial Officer which has consisted of finance, strategy, commercial development, and information technology.

Given the growing importance CBH places on data, analytics and systems, Tamour Azam will join the CBH Lead Team as Chief Information Officer and report to the Chief Executive Officer. This role previously reported to the Chief Financial Officer.

Chief Project Delivery Officer Pieter Vermeulen has also announced his resignation and will leave CBH by the end of October 2021.

The recruitment process includes finding a new Chief Financial Officer, which will retain finance, strategy and commercial development responsibilities and Chief Project Delivery Officer will commence soon.

CBH Acting Chief Executive Officer Ben Macnamara said he would like to thank Warden and Vermeulen for their work for the co-operative during their tenures.

"Doug has been with CBH for almost three years leading the Finance and IT teams and I would like to thank Doug for his contribution to CBH during his time with us, it has been great to have him as part of the team.

"During Pieters time, the Project Delivery team has delivered 2.7 million tonnes of new storage (capacity) to the CBH network, 80 throughput enhancements and many sustaining capital projects.

"Tamour joined CBH Group as Chief Information Officer in December 2018, tasked with delivering a technology strategy to support the CBH tactical plan. He has over 25 years' experience working in the United Kingdom and Australia, across multiple industries including manufacturing, technology, defence and retail," Macnamara said.
