The information gathered in the survey will help determine the level of assistance required for primary producers whose assets and businesses have been impacted as a result of the natural disaster.

The preferred method of completing the ‘Primary industries damage assessment/impact survey' is online here:

https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/7396Q9Z

Alternatively, a copy can be printed out here https://bit.ly/3bhhpQm and scanned and emailed to tcseroja@dpird.wa.gov.au or hand it in at a local DPIRD office.

The deadline for survey submissions is by the end of Monday, 17 May.

A number of Mid West and Wheatbelt local government areas have also been made eligible to receive financial assistance through the jointly funded Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.

This includes the WA local government areas of Carnamah, Chapman Valley, Coorow, Dalwallinu, Dandaragan, Greater Geraldton, Mingenew, Morawa, Mount Marshall, Northampton, Perenjori, Shark Bay and Three Springs.

A range of other practical assistance measures are available, such as grants for professional advice, interest rate subsidies, freight subsidies, fencing reimbursement and other measures.
