About 150 delegates aged between 18-35 were joined by industry experts who spoke on a range of topics from professional and personal development to innovation and the latest developments in farming.

The annual conference, co-ordinated and run by GrainGrowers, is held in a different location around the country each year. The theme of the get together was “Telling the Ag story in a digital age” with speakers focusing on getting a positive message to the customer and community around the role of agriculture and the benefits it delivers.

Speakers included the Kondinin Group's Ben White and Josh Giumelli who were invited to present to three groups in the breakout sessions about technology and the latest innovations in farm machinery and equipment.

The event also included a tour of the Waite Research Institute, Viterra-Outer Harbour terminal, Coopers brewery and Thomas Foods.

Delegates enjoyed the national networking opportunity and the ability to speak directly with industry representatives. It is understood plans for Innovation Generation 2018 are underway.

A growing series of reports, each focused on a key discussion point for the farming sector, brought to you by the Kondinin team.
