Claimed to be one of the largest shows of its type in the world, the Australian Sheep & Wool Show will be home to more than 2700 sheep including about 25 breeds of which the feature breed is the Polwarth.

The Show starts on 19 July (Friday) and finishes on 21 July, culminating with a Merino ram sale on the Sunday afternoon.

A range of exhibitors and trade stands will be at the Show, along with several competitions including the Australian Fleece Championships, individual breed awards and working dogs battling it out.

The Australian Association of Stud Merino Breeders will also be celebrating its 60th anniversary at the Show, with a buffet dinner scheduled for Thursday, 18 July.
