Nominations for the annual awards, which are in their eighth year, closed on June 17. The joint award hosts congratulate all who got involved this year.
Judges are now hard-at-work reviewing the nominees for each category, with the winner’s being announced at an exclusive Awards Announcement Event at Parliament House on August 16.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Agriculture and Water Resources, The Hon. Barnaby Joyce MP, will be there to officially open the event and ABC Rural will conduct a live, outside broadcast of their national Country Hour radio program to publicly announce the 2017 winners.
The 2017 Awards have been supported by some of our industry’s leading agricultural organisations. We pay tribute to them here, as they have each played a significant role in the annual awards event.
