JCB launches new iCON Fastrac series

Included in the new iCON Fastracs are substantial upgrades in the cab, including the armrest/console with the addition of a 12-inch colour touchscreen and ISOBUS configurability for improved control of the tractor and implements.

The new series models are the 4160, 4190, 4220, 8290 and 8330, which range in power from 133-260kW.

The 8000 series retains a top road speed of 70km/h via a Continuously Variable Transmission while the 4000 series tractors can reach 60km/h. The tractor can be driven via the armrest joystick or the more conventional foot pedals.

Standard features include the configurable armrest, 12" high definition touch screen, Bluetooth connectivity, automatic climate control, 60-degree seat rotation, all-round ABS disc brakes, four-wheel-drive and differential-lock and a full-size instructor's seat.

Rear linkage lift capacity on the 4000 series is 7000kg with an 8000kg option while the 8000 series tractors have a rear linkage lift capacity of 10,000kg. Front linkage lift is 3500kg on both series.

Hydraulic oil flow rate for the 4000 series is 195 litres per minute while the 8000 series Fastracs have a flow rate of 178L/min.
