JCB CEA has been selling JCB agricultural and construction equipment for almost 20 years and there are now five JCB CEA branches and 60 dealer outlets throughout Australia.

The milestone was celebrated with the presentation of a model silver-plated JCB telehandler from JCB CEA chief executive officer Hylton Taylor, group executive chairman Philip Cardaci and general manager, dealer network Matt King. The presentation was made to Brad Michaels and Terry Michaels from Michaels Group.

Michaels Group is the largest JCB dealer in Australia, providing new and used equipment for construction and agricultural customers, as well as servicing, parts and equipment for long and short-term hire.

Brad Michaels says that selling the 10,000th JCB machine was a privilege for the dealership, which started out as a small family business in Donald, Victoria.

“Michaels has been around for over 25 years, and now our dealership spans four locations, from Ballarat to Moama. We’ve been selling JCB machinery for nearly 20 of those 25 years and I’d like to congratulate our staff and sales reps for reaching this milestone.

“Our customers range from farmers looking for an all-round machine for their operations, to contractors needing a new skid steer or mini for their project work. JCB machines cover all our customer bases, and deliver on efficiency and safety.”

Hylton Taylor says that he’s excited about the future of Michaels’ working relationship with JCB.

“There are some exciting product releases next year for JCB in Australia, and we’re looking forward to the reaching the next milestone and selling another 10,000 JCB products on these shores.”
