Survey shines light on quality of water used for spraying 

IT is no secret that spray efficacy depends on water droplet size, equipment setup, correct timing and correct rates, however water quality itself is a factor often overlooked. The potentially big impact of this factor on spray efficacy has given rise to a Western Australian study looking at variation in water quality, in water used for spraying across the WA wheatbelt. The project is a collaborative effort between University of Western Australia's Australian Herbicide Resistance Initiative and the Centre for Water and Spatial Science.
