The event will feature field machinery demonstrations, static machinery displays and booth displays.
"The Fodder Festival will engage all fodder industry sectors from growers, contractors, traders and end-users" said Paula Fitzgerald, AFIA's newly appointed chief executive officer.
"This is a fantastic opportunity to check out machinery in action in the paddock and to get up to date information on new products and technologies available to the fodder industry leading into the 2021 season," said Fitzgerald.
"We are looking forward to a return to routine with this festival set to be a regular biennial event on the AFIA and Elmore Field Days calendar," she said.
The 2021 event will feature big square balers with the theme "The Future of Big Square Baling" and will provide attendees an opportunity to observe the latest range of square balers on the market firsthand.
In the lead-up to the Festival, registrants will also have the opportunity to virtually observe crop preparations and cutting and raking.
The 2021 Fodder Festival will be held on Wednesday 17 March at the Elmore Events Centre from 7am-4pm and is presented by AFIA in partnership with the Elmore Field Days Committee.
