The 90-minute webinar will provide an in-depth update and discussion around livestock markets in Australia and around the globe, focussing on the unprecedented supply and demand conditions currently facing the industry including the situation with COVID-19.

Jason Strong, managing director, Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) and Robert Hermann, general manager, Mercado, will present information and analysis that will assist red meat producers to understand what these challenges and opportunities might mean for them.

Hermann acknowledged that while there is nothing predictable about the current situation, he is confident the agriculture industry will soldier on with the job.

"The farm won't stop, and you'll need to continue to make decisions to best position your business in the current and future market," he said.

The webinar is free, and producers can join the afternoon session via their phone and/or computer, tablet or smartphone.

Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues with the presenters during each session. The webinar is to be held on Friday 17 April from 2pm to 3.30 pm.
